Fact and Opinion

My Reflection
I have been learning the difference between fact and opinion. A fact is a statement that can be proven true with evidence. An opinion is something that you think and feel and can not be proven true. I found this easy because I have been using facts and opinions when I have been writing different persuasive writing in different years. My next step is to use facts in my speech to back up my opinions.

Features of a Persuasive Argument

My Reflection

I have been learning to identify the features of persuasive writing. I think the most effective feature is because Facts and Statistics because you can backup the argument with facts to change the persons mind. I found this easy because I have done these lots of time when I was in a different year.

WAL about telling time

My Reflection

I have been learning to identify the difference between am and pm. I have also been learning to convert time between analogue and digital, sequence times, and understand 24 hour times, My next step is to try to tell 24 hour times faster. I am most proud of being able to understand clocks more fluently.

My Lockdown Poem

My Reflection

I have been learning to write an acrostic poem. I used my experiences during Lockdown to write my poem. I am most proud of how I was able to do lots of things during Lockdown because mostly everybody was inside bored.

Reflection

We had to research 6 countries on the internet after we had researched the countries we had to write it onto a google doc for our visas. I found some facts a bit challenging because sometimes it wouldn't tell us what were looking for. It was easy because some facts I had already known.

Identifying Parts of a Graph

 My Reflection
We were learning to identify parts of a graphs using labels. We looked at all the different types of graphs like line graphs,bar graphs and pie graphs. I found it easy because we had already practiced on a piece of paper so we knew what parts we had o label on the graph. My next step is to try and use more information on what graphs are all about.

This is Just To Say Poem

My Reflection

I have been learning to write a poem based on "This is just to say" by William Carlos William. I was able to use interesting language so my poem was engaging. I found this easy because I was able to have lots of connection with the story. My next step is to use language such as metaphors to help the reader create a detailed picture in their head.

Analysing Character Traits

I have been learning to relate to the characters in the text to understand their purpose.Two character traits I noticed about Ryder were Hard working and sweet.I found this easy because you could already tell how his character is like.My next step is to explain how character traits affect the way characters interact with each other.

Reflection: I have been learning to make connections when I read.A connection I made when I read this story was when the person in the book lost his friend I lost my friend.I found this easy because when I read the questions I had something in my mind straight away. My next step is to use connections more often to help me understand what I read.
